In 1989, and within a global process of industrial diversification of SAMCA(link is external), the possibilities of Teruel clays in the world of ceramics began to be studied, and more specifically, in the neighboring tile sector of Castellón.
The rest is our little story, which has allowed us to establish ourselves progressively and solidly in the ceramic markets, to become Spanish leaders in ceramic raw materials, and one of the obligatory references at European level.
Our teams are a young, multidisciplinary and multinational group, made up of professionals from different areas with extensive experience in the ceramic sectors.
We believe in proximity to the customer: proximity brings trust, achieves faster and more effective solutions and ultimately reduces costs.
Our R&D&I efforts follow 3 lines of action:
Knowledge and classification of existing reserves.
It is a necessary condition in all research work to start from sufficiently consistent premises that give a given project guarantees of longevity and continuity in its results.
Perhaps this simple idea is inherited from our mining beginnings. There is no lasting mine if it is not extracted with the idea of maximizing its reserves.
Design of mineral products that adapt to market demands.
Obtaining raw materials. Compositions of mineral mixtures that adapt to any type of industrial process.
Search for new options or trends in terms of processing.
Euroarce is synonymous of a complete process, from materials still to be extracted from its reserves, to elaborated and complex manufacturing products that allow the final shaping and decorating of a ceramic piece.
